Welcome!

Digital literacy is the set of skills and knowledge required to participate in a society that uses digital technology for almost everything. This module is designed to help you learn more about this topic and become a more prepared digital citizen.

Accessibility

This module includes closed captions and full transcripts for each narrated slide. It is also designed to work with desktop screen readers, but it won’t work with screen readers on mobile devices.

Section 1 starts with a full guide to all accessibility features, and every slide in the rest of the module includes a button at the bottom of the screen that will let you see the same guide in a pop-up window.

Timing

While the entire module will run about 30 minutes, it is broken up into smaller sections. You can complete one section at a time, or even start a section, exit, and return to exactly where you left off.

IMPORTANT: Make sure all sections are marked complete

No matter how much or how little time you spend inside each section, you should click the Mark Complete button once you’re done.

(The button will disappear once it has been clicked and you won’t see it again when you re-enter that section.)

The final exam will NOT be available until all sections have been marked as complete.

Post-Exam Survey

After you pass the final exam, you will be asked to fill out a brief feedback form asking your thoughts and opinions about the module. We thank you very much in advance for your assistance with helping us improve our programs.

Certificate

Once you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate of completion, personalized with your name, the module name, and the date.
